What is FEES?
A fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES) is a safe and quick procedure performed at the bedside by Speech Language Pathologists that allows for a direct view of swallow physiology.
How this works?
- Clinical staff identify candidate for FEES and obtains physician order
- After service agreement is in place, contact Mobile Swallow Services to schedule exam
- SLP performs FEES at your location, provides same day interpretation, printed report and patient/staff education regarding results & recommendations
